I look at this picture and I am just so totally amazed at how quick time passes.   Seems like just yesterday that I had this one and now she’s 5, looking WAY older than that, and tying her shoes.  Yep that was her majoy accomplishment of the day.  She can tie her shoes now!  WOW!   STOP GROWING ALREADY!!  Until next time!

JJ the hole digger!

Yes, he’s 7 months old now and tearing up the yard!  Grrrr  He’s quite the hole digger.  I wish we could fast forward a year and maybe then he will be out of this puppy stage.  Yes, I’m impatient, but darn it he’s tearing things up.  Thank goodness its outside and not in though.  Gotta give him credit for that.  WOW I would take my little dogs any day but my DH is a big dog lover.  I just tell myself, I think I can I think I can(hold out that is) like the little engine that could.  Anywho, here he is!  Until next time!

One HOT dog!

Hehe at least we think so.  You know, Oscar was 4 years old on Halloween and once apon a time we wondered if he would ever fill out.  He was so skinny his first couple of years.  It wan’t until we got him fixed that he started getting his middle age spread.  Now he isn’t TOO FAT like you’ve seen alot of Doxies but he is pleasantly plump and we LOVE him that way.   He has to be the sweetest, most caring and snuggly dog there is.  He loves to have his chest and belly scratched.  Be careful because if you sit down on our couch you are in for it.  He won’t let you stop!   He IS one picky eater.  He won’t eat just any dog chow.  He loves the Kibbles and Bits.  For the longest time he wouldn’t even eat dry food.   Oh and YES he sleeps in the bed with DH and I.  He gets scooted off DH’s side of the bed OFTEN.  Don’t know why he choses his side but he does.  Oh and is he a burrower!  LOVES being way down deep under the covers.  Well here he is in all his glory!  Until next time!

You know, we all strive to achieve that SPOT ON focus.  Well I think after a bazillion photos I got it.  If only for just this one but it feels good to actually have done it.  Emma actually let me play a little bit before she was TOTALLY OVER IT!  lol  Until next time!

On growing up…

why do they have to grow up so fast?  Seems like just yesterday I had Emma.  She’s 5 now but I still consider her my baby.  I will for as long as she will allow it.  I want her to stay little.  Too enjoy being a kid for as long as she can.  With everything we are going through with Erika, I has made me come to really appreciate this.  I don’t want my kids to grow up so fast that they miss all the good and fun things about being a kid.  Ok, I could go on and on but I want to share a couple of gems I came across today.  These are of Emma 2 winters ago.  I love her smile and love for life!  Until next time!

A Little late

But I still wanted to share these!  We had trunk or treat at church on Halloween.  We don’t usually dress up but the kids decided they wanted to come up with their own costumes.   I think they did a pretty good job although I helped Emma of course.  Trevor is too old to dress up, now that he is a teenager!  LOL
